Celebration Trip 3/20/25

Thank you Alan Morris, Tim Huggins, Alan Good, Theresa Cannon and Al Cannon for volunteering and going on this mission trip.  

Every year during the Lenten season which is also Carnival season, the church in Debauche does it's own version of Carnival.  They call it Celebration!  A Sunday of great worship and praise.  They invited all of the other local churches to come and join with a marathon of worship, praise and the sharing of God's Word.  Many pastors and their choirs make the long trek on foot to come a be a part of the Celebration.  We had  a standing room only Sunday packed with about 400 people gathered in our multi-purpose building with hours of voices lifted high!  Afterwards, the celebration continued with a great food and great fellowship. 

During this same  weekend, the volunteers were blessed to be part of a wedding and nine baptisms of our own youth at Debauche.  

This was another wonderful, spirit-filled trip where the five volunteers returned home knowing that they were blessed to be part of such a time of Celebration with the Debauche community while sharing the Good News of Jesus.
